Daemon tools problems

Hi, i have an HP 4710s Probook laptop and i have a problem with daemon tools. When i installed the program, it is asked at the end of instalation, to reset computer. When i restart it, that "blue" screen appears and won't load windows, so i have to go in safe mode and uninstall daemon tools, and then it works just fine.
Can anyone help?

Do you have the latest version? Did you select the correct OS, 32/64-bit?

Yes, i selected right OS (windows XP), 32-bit...Don't know what could be wrong?

Yes, i am using free version... Can you tell me, if there is a program that is simmilar to daemon tools, that i can use?

try downloading another version of it, I have never had a problem..
