Ok so I've finally decided to go ahead with the following components for my build.

Graphics Card: ASUS RADEON EAH5870 1GB
CPU: Intel Core i7 920 / 2.66 GH
CPU cooling: Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme Rev.C
Motherboard: ASUS Rampage II Extreme X58
Monitor: Samsung 23" 1920x1080
Power Supply: Corsair TX750W (750 watt)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix 6 GB DDR3
Case: HAF 932 - Full tower
HDD: WD5001AALS - Hard drive - 500 GB
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bit.
CD/DVD Drive: The one in my old PC!

Total cost: ~1750 euro.

Looking good right?

Also, I've got a question about cooling. I'm OC'ing my CPU and I have a TRUE120 to cool it. But let's say I wanted to OC my RAM and GPU, do I need additional cooling components or will the fans and airflow of the HAF932 suffice?

Edit: Just remembered that the 5870 has an in-built fan so OC'ing shouldn't be a problem right?

All gpus have fans, well the upper end ones.... Overclocking isn't usuaslly a problem unless you really push it hard.

RAMS a bit trickier, but even a Macgyver'd case fan blowing on the ram is pretty decent.

Have fun.

XFX is a good company so the card should be fine.

Sometimes a company will make a small design change (a different fan as an example) and the old design is reduced in price to eliminate the stock.
