Dangerous Temps?

But anyways, i DO live in the southeast so it is very hot. The temperature in my house is usually mid 80's (f) so maybe that has to do with it?

And when i say the battery elevates it, i mean this:

As you can see in my first post, i was doing some heavy tasks on my laptop before running hwmonitor. Task manager showed cpu at 100%.
 
If you have a cooling pad, like you had said initially, I think with your ambient, youre boned.

I guess if you lifted it more to allow air to flow out past the battery, you'd be pretty angled.
 
Well its not really a cooling pad, but a laptop fan? Oh well. My dads previoius laptop had huge overheating issues but was fine for a few yars :)
