One question I have is will my motherboard be able to run the 1600 memory. The motherboard's memory standard is DDR3 2200/1333/1066/800? (I'm kind of confused about memory specs in general.)

Your budget is probably the thing you aught to focus on, also how long it takes you to get that kind of money together. I have a friend who was planning to spend £5,000 on his PC but by the time he got all the money together, better stuff was out

Also, as it's a gaming PC, look at the benchmarks for the higher end games and see if they'll run.

If you do it right, you can build a PC that'll last you for years
