Laptop clock freezes

I have a Lenovo T60 laptop, Windows XP sp3. Almost daily, the laptop clocks stops, and even sometime even backs up 5 minutes or so. I reset the time and it works for awhile. I havent been able to 'stare' at my laptop for hours to see if I can find out what may happen. I do have it connected to DSL most of the time, if that may be an issue.

I replaced the CMOS battery thinking that may be it. Still happens.
Any ideas what else it may be?

I don't know why the clock would stop unless the laptop was using all of it's resources on other tasks.

The time is probably backing up because the clock was running fast, you probably already figured that out thou.

I wish I could help you but I really don't have a clue.

Is that in sinc with your BIOS clock? If so, the battery or CMOS chip may be bad.
