OK, I've just overclocked my CPU a little my setting the external frequency to 200mhz (from 166mhz), and my mutiplier to 11x (originally 13x), therfore my FSB is now 400mhz, am I right?

I've set the ram frequency to 'By SPD', and the resulting frequency is 200mhz. Is this right?

The CPU's external clock should be set at 200 Mhz. The multiplier is x11 (default), therefore the CPU's internal clock will become 2.2 Ghz.

200 Mhz x 11 = 2.2 Ghz

The DRAM frequency should be set at 100 Mhz.

100 Mhz x 4 = 400 Mhz (FSB)

Like I say, by default my multiplier is set to 13x (166mhz ex.frequency)...

But I'll set my memory frequency to 100mhz, see how I get on.

That post looks familiar... lol.

Yeah, I know somebody not long posted a rather simalar topic to this... sorry about that

EDIT: Odd... when I set my memory frequency to 100mhz, my computer wouldn't start. I had to reset my CMOS battery

I was referring to Sherndon because he copied my post from here.

You're welcome, Sherndon!

P.S.: Please feel free to use my information in anyway that you'd like.
