I bought a 5770 XFX Video card. Juniper XT. $169.99. I'm looking to play Starcraft 2 and do some video uploads where I record the game and publish them on Youtube. So I'm also looking to have a great HD quality recording capability.

Your taking a chance buying an "open-box" product. While it may be fine, it might have an intermittent problem. There's nothing like paying for someone else's headache.

My budget is $850 (not including video card, I already payed for that).

As for the open box; I can double check but I'm almost positive that if it is defective, I have 30 days to return it.
