Is this a good computer for the price? Advice appreciated

I was browsing Newegg and I recently came upon this computer.

For everything it has, it seems to be a great price and value but I wanted to see the opinions of people here before I became more serious about purchasing it.

While I'd rather build my own computer....I know little about them and this one seems to be a good value for my gaming needs.

I'm going to use the computer for gaming and school work. Budget is around 1000ish, give or take.

what kind of games? if you are looking at Crysis 2, then no that computer wont work very well, if you are looking at Battle Field 2, then that will do just fine.

Also, you can 98.99% of the time build a faster computer for cheaper than buying a pre-built computer.

, You've made me very happy Trotter. Thank you very much, this seems quite the nice rig that will do everything I need it to. I'm hoping to build one that can run Star Wars the Old Republic once it comes out at high settings and this will certainly do the trick.
