So I'm looking at building a new desktop soon, so I started putting a build together and would like some input. Here's what I have so far; I still need a tower, a keyboard and a mouse. I want a full tower, and I don't like the HAF. I'm thinking about watercooling eventually and also want to add another video card.

I'd like to stay around 2k for everything. If it's a bit higher, like $2200 or so that would be fine. Let me know what we can axe and change. It'll be used for gaming obviously, and I will be taking it with me back to school, so probably doing some rendering and such. Thanks.

It looks good to me. You mentioned water-cooling later, if that involves overclocking then I suggest getting the 920 instead of the 930. I think you'll be happy :D

Yea, I want to overclock. I read earlier that the 920 was better for that compared to the 930. Can you suggest a good aftermarket HSF until I get to the point of watercooling?

I have a used TRUE that I picked up fairly cheap. I'm going to clean it up and lap the base and sell it. I'll take $50 shipped. It will need a fan and I won't have the time to lap it til next week.

I'm not planning on building for a little while yet so that will be fine. I'll get back to you on buying it though. Any case recommendations?

Cases are pretty much an individual item. What I like isn't good for everyone. With that said I personally like Lian-Li and Cooler Master.

It sucks, I can't really find a full tower that I like.

What style do you like? Can you get pictures of cases that you like the design of?

As for the build, all looks good, except for what Slay mentioned.

Although, you could save a few bucks ($25) going with an XFX 5870. Double Lifetime warranty, and a free game, Alien vs. Predator.
