as far as a CPU cooler goes, i erally really like this Corsair H50 Water cooler...

Newegg.com - CORSAIR Cooling Hydro Series CWCH50-1 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler

I really don't want to get into water cooling just yet.

On the Noctua, if there is a problem with it covering any of the memory slots or actually hitting the memory, could it be possible to leave one of the fans off? Or would I be defeating the purpose of buying that cooler?

EDIT: Does the Antec 1200 have a side fan on it? According to the specs on Newegg, it does not. But by looking at pics, it looks like it does unless it just has a place to add one yourself.

The Corsair H50 Water cooler is a completely self sustaining closed loop system that does not need any care or maintenance, you dont need to do anything to it ever after you install it. it comes pre-applied with thermal compound. its quieter and in my honest opinion better than any Air CPU cooler on the market. also, you dont have to worry about any clearance issues.

No, the Antec 1200 doesnt come with a side fan, but has a space to put one, also, there is a space for a 120mm in the middle Hard drive cage. all in all the 1200 can support 8 fans, seven 120mm fans and the huge exhaust port fan at the top of the case

So the 1200 has 6 fans installed and able to install 2 more fans myself? What is the middle hard drive cage you are talking about? It is kind of hard to tell by the pics since everything is black. I don't know if I like that color or not. How is the cable management on this case?

Man, there are too many decisions. I am going crazy trying to decide what I want. On the memory timings and latency, is lower the number better? I was thinking about this set: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145236

Should I go with this set or go with the OCZ set? Anything better that doesn't cost too much more?

I am still undecided on the motherboard.

So you have a NH-D14? What are you temps like? Do you think it is too heavy for the mobo? Is it worth the $90?

What makes that ram better than anything I have picked out? It has the same timings and latency.

I have made a few changes to my build. I will update it sometime tonight hopefully.

No, the ram you picked was slower and more expensive. At least the one right above my post, didn't check your other posts.

Temps are GREAT with this. I'm idling at 24-29C on my 980X atm, and on my 920 I was idling at about 36-39c

How is the last one I picked slower? They both have the same numbers, 8-8-8-24.

That doesn't make sense. Your 980x idles lower than the 920? Did they both have the same cooler?

Here is my updated build:

Still open for suggestions. This one is not set in stone yet.

RAM: I am still undecided on this. It is going to be either the Corsair, OCZ or the Crucial.

2 of these

the Noctua NH-D14 is the best CPU air cooler on he market, as far as i can tell.

I still say that the Corsiar H50 is better.

I am sure any water cooled setup is better than air. I just do not want to go that route right now.

On ram timings, lower the number is better, right?
