i want to use this mother board:

MSI X58M 1366 Intel X58 uATX Intel Motherboard
http://www.amazon.com/MSI-X58M-1366-...2757835&sr=8-1

First of all, this mother board is going in a high end gaming machine, im building this computer to play Crysis at maxed settings and resolution and eventually Crysis 2 when it comes out. Is this mother board a good board for a gaming machine? i will be using a 5970 for my graphics card.

question 2:

i was told that this mother board needs tri-channel Ram. is that better or worse than regular ram? i was planning on using 6 gigs of this ram:

6GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-10666 (1333MHz) CL9-9-9-24 Triple Channel kit NQ Series
http://www.amazon.com/G-Skill-PC3-10...8&sr=1-3-fkmr1

how is this ram for a gaming machine?

thanks for any replies

Your links are not working, but I wouldn't buy that mobo. It doesn't come with a heatsink for the Mosfets (Voltage Regulator Circuitry) and they get quite hot. I'm not a big fan of MSI but they do make decent boards. This MSI mobo is only a little more and it comes with a heatsink on the Mosfets.
Newegg.com - MSI X58 Pro-E LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

But this one comes with USB 3.0 support but it's a little more still.
Newegg.com - MSI X58 Pro-E USB3 LGA 1366 Intel X58 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

That memory has terrible Latencies for DDR3 1333MHz memory. I would get this instead :D
Newegg.com - OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory Model OCZ3G1600LV6GK

hey, thanks you confirmed what i thought about that mother board.
i used the one with usb 3.0 and i put the ram u suggested.

i really appreciate your reply. i posted this same thread in another forum a week ago and havnt gotten any replies. this forum is much better than that one.

Thanks again :D
