sorry just a thing that always bothered me is editing something that was previously said or posted unless it was changed very shortly after

Good, although I would have gone with either a 5770 or one of the higher end 5800 series cards (5850/5870)
the 5830 is generally not good value compared to the other 5000 series cards.

oh i only it because it only cost me $200 which isn't bad for a 5830. otherwise i would have gone for the 5770. I would not have pain the $240 list price.
