i want build a nice really good overclockable computer but my budget is 700 can it happen lol. I have found the i7 930 processor for $200 so im building around that need a mother board i nice crazy looking case lol ram, psu, motherboard should be able to do crossfire i want to do that later dont need the graphics card yet cause im on a budget and i want to buy a cheap one and then change later im going to use my old nvidia 8400 until i can buy a real nice one and im going to try to use some of my old computer parts like the harddrive thanks in advance

Just out of curiosity, where did you find an i7 930 for $200?

If you want to save some money you could re-use your older computer case temporarily. It will be a little bit of a pain to have to migrate everything to a new case later on down the road...but then you'll have more to spend on the actual internals. Although, I have a feeling you're like me and have a really ugly case, hence why you want a much different looking one. My case is so lame that the CD burner sticks out all retarded looking....thank you Gateway, lol

ya from your description my case looks as bad as yours and the i7 is 200 at microcenter but the dam store is 2 hours away from my house lol o well and to Druid ya i saw that post but i need the i7 because i do alot of video editing as well, well not yet but plan to lol its kinda my hobby. The reason i dont want to buy the graphics card right now is cause i want to buy one really good instead of one alright card you. I want to buy the ati 5870 if i buy now all i can get is 5770 i should have the money in 2 months for the card lol and the 8400 will do for now but ya the card does suck. So can you help me find an intel i7 build with a good overclocking mother board. This what i got so far let me know what you guys think and if theres like cheaper ram or mother board that does the same as what i listed let me know no point in spending more money for the samething.

none of your links work

if your main purpose for the build is for gaming, I would just get an i5 750
4gb of ram

MSI P55-GD65 LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard
HARD|OCP Gold Editor's Choice Award so I guess it can't be bad, another member of our forum community also spoke highly of this board, can't remember who though.
or
GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD3 LGA 1156 Intel P55 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
can't go wrong with them gigbytes

and some ripjaws
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL
