I guess this topic may had been discussed in the past in this forum, but i jus couldn't find any since i joined it.. What i was trying to do was to send mail through Telnet, i have studied 2 days for this.. and was able to send few of them, those who are learning can go thru the following steps
Run>telnet
o mail.rediffmail.com 25
helo
mail from:any@anydomain.com
rcpt to:any@anydoman.com
data
subject:any subject
rcpt to:any@anydomain.com //exclude this if u want to appear receipts undisclosed in the "to" field
The body of the letter came here, i was unable to see this in mail
. //for ending type dot and press enter
u will see some codes like 220,250,450 after every line..
so thru this i was able to send mail, but only @rediffmail.com and also, i was unable to see the body of the mail, i guess i need to add one more command help me do that..
Well then try to mail to yahoo domain and for that i chose
o mx1.mail.yahoo.com 25
it got connected but that
mail from:any@anydomain.com
thing din work here,it says syntax error... what do i do for this.. please lemme know..
