Intel i7 930 or AMD phenom II X4 965

Ok so im looking to get one of these two
Which one would be better for Gaming?
I can get the i7 for $200 and the phenom is $180
what are the difference's?

the i7 930 wipes the floor with the 965, especially when overclocked.

Definitely go with the 930

Yes the i7 is better. Though its much more expensive for the motherboard and RAM. Phenom IIs are generally more budget oriented.

I think either of them will work fine, but in the long run the i7 930 will be your best investment.
