I am Buying A LG HDTV Tomorrow It Is A 42inch LF11 (SPEC BELOW)
I am running windows 7 .4GB Memory on my DESKTOP PC.
I Am Also Going To Buy A HDMI to DVI Cable And Intend Running Everything Through My TV.
I Want To Know will I Be Able to Run My Computer Through The TV Trouble Free it This Way.

I Have Heard I Wont Get Sound Through My Graphics Card BFG NVIDIA GEFORCE 9500GT but that is okay for now.. i will run the sound through my pc external speakers as always. My Graphics Card says DVi-i not just DVi . What Does This Mean as i see a few varieties of DVI Cables.. DVI-D DVI and DVI-D. When Getting My Cable Does This MAtter?

Hope You Can Help With The Above Questions? Thank You

Just make sure you get a proper DVI - HDMI cable and everything will work fine.
Because your tv is so large you may notice that text is blurry when you hook everything up.
That's somewhat normal when scaling up to a very large monitor.
Just letting you know.

yeah i hook up my computer to my 46 inch samsung and it is something, but like said above it can ba alittle hard to see, Mine wasnt really blurry it was just too small for me to read unless I was sitting right up on it. So if you eyes suck alittle bit like mine you might try 720 instead of 1080 becasue sitting 3 feet from a 46 inch monitor will wear you out. Does you tv not have a vga input, i would think it would easier, cheaper to get a dvi to vga adapter and either a 3.5mm audio cable or 3.5mm to rca adapter for sound to your tv. Just a thought. The last three hdtv's I have had all have had vga. And my old 1080 crt monitor has a dvi.

I run my computer on my 42 inch TV. I also run it at 720p instead of 1080p because I sit a bit away from the TV and 1080p is just too hard to read.

Just remember you may need to adjust the monitor frequency within the display properties to get it to look it's best. Mine is set to 75 mhz.
