Maybe, but I really doubt it.

The lowest clocked Phenom II X6 at stock speeds was within 1500 points of the i7 920's stock score on 3dMark Vantage, and scored within the same par as the i7 920/930/940 on 3dMark06

If those benches are any indication, it seems about right.

Those are video card benchies, there influenced to much by the video driver to use. I'll go with LinX and SuperPi or something "Real World" for the cpu.

3dMark has CPU benches as part of it?
I was referring only to the CPU scores anyway.

PhysX can also influence the cpu score. And if you'll look thru some Orb results you see that higher end video card setups also score higher in the cpu tests even with PhysX disabled. Futuremark just isn't good for testing "CPU's".

I agree, you just can't trust these benchmark results.
Especially the numbers given from Intel tests.
