Unable to Boot from CD (Windows 7 install)

Ports going faulty, kind of strange it doesn't detect on all. When you try it with your PS/2, post back the results.

Also you can try resetting your BIOS by removing the CMOS battery (or pressing a button or using jumpers...it depends on your board and should check the documentation of it) to see if everything goes back to default, and maybe the ports might just well work.
 
Hey, sorry this a bit late, but the problem was with USB on boot. I used a USB to PS2 convertor on my keyboard, and voila! it worked.
