Building my first PC

Im currently using it for Gaming & 3d max modeling for school.
Trying to keep my budget under 2k.

What ive looked into it, suggested by many i know. Just want another opinion.

Intel SSD 80gb


Havent picked a GPU, thats what im thinking so far. Any suggestions are welcom, please and thank you.

I think a 750w PSU is future proofing.
In the case of the GTX 480, probably an 850w.

1000w is a little excessive unless by future proof you mean you're planning on tri-sli or tri-crossfire
