They're almost the same card... The 9800gtx+ is the older one, it has 2 pci-e plugs.

The 250 has only one, and is 1\gig vs the 512meg of the 9800.

As the 9800 isnt any cheaper, 250 wins.

^the 250 is $25 cheaper, and will mostly outperform the 5750 (if only by the slightest of margins)

If you're getting such a low end card chances are you shouldn't really care about dx11 either. The only thing the 5750 has going for it is its lower power consumption.

HD 5750> HD 4850> GTS 250/9800GTX+

Radeon HD 5750 review (Crossfire)
GTS 250 > 5750 in performance AND price. meh, what other advantages do you need?

And the GTS 250 averages out to pretty much exactly the same performance as the 4850. Both have their strong suites, but they average out to be about the same in the end. Deciding factor would pretty much be down to price imo

That reviews uses the launch drivers for the 5750 which have significantly worse performance than the new 10.3a's

ah. my bad

5750 > gts250/4850 apparently.

Any more up to date 5750 benches? I found a few, but they're all consistent with the ones in the link I posted earlier.
