looking to get a new laptop for college and would like a very powerful system. willing to spend about $2k but i dont want a huge 17in laptop, that won't work for me while im at college. I've already looked at the ASUS g73 series which is awesome but just too big for me. so does anyone know the most powerful 15in laptop?

You can always go and customize one on a website. if you are willing to shell out that much money, you can get almost anything in a laptop if you just find a company you like and build one. remember though, the battery life is going to be terrible.

that alienware has gotten top reviews everywhere it's been tested
most companies don't offer top notch graphic cards along with alot of memory and decent processors. alienware is waaay overpriced. Asus is probably the best im gonna get. the g51jx looks reallly good. the only bad thing i've read about it is the battery life is really bad, but ill probably upgrade to 9 cell instead of 6. anyone have a g51 series and like it?

gaming laptops aren't really known for long lasting batteries due to the exceptional power draw they have.
