I came across a Logitech wireless keyboard that someone was going to throw away. I figured I would keep it for a spare. The only problem is it does not have the receiver with it. Would I be able to use any receiver or does it have to be the one that came with the keyboard? I thought about buying a receiver off of ebay if it would work.

The keyboard is a Cordless iTouch Keyboard.

Look at the back, and see what it says. If there is a product number, look up the manufacturer and ask them if they have a spare reciever.

I found a receiver that I had and the keyboard worked with it so I do not need a certain receiver for it to work. Problem solved. Thanks for your help.

It's bluetooth, it just shows up as a USB input device because of the driver ID in windows in nearly all the unix flavors I have they show up as BT devices.
