WARNING! NVIDIA 196.75 Drivers Can Kill Your GPU

It's not up for debate, as a general rule Nvidia has had better drivers and driver support for their products than ATI

If it's not up for debate then why do people debate it?

Now, personally I think it's silly when people attack ATI or Nvidia for bad drivers most of the time. Generally you can find a stable driver that has good performance with pretty much any card you have.

This is a unique case in that there is an actual risk of cards dying because of this driver.

Usually because people start using their own personal experiences as arguments. They don't get that it's not relevant in the bigger picture, but hey they bring it in anyway. And everyones experiences are going to be different, some good some bad etc.
THEN you get the famous battle of the fanboys starting all over again...

And yeah, this stuff up by Nvidia was pretty bad usually a bad driver will just cause unstability, to actually kill the card is a pretty big **** up lol
