Getting a new CPU (Help) !!!

Hello guys im looking to buy a new processor but im not a computer tech
so I came here for help.

All my pc info :
CPU
Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 @ 1.80GHz 49 °C
Conroe 65nm Technology
RAM
2.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 266MHz 4-4-4-12
Motherboard
ASUSTek Computer INC. LEONITE (Socket 775)
Graphics
Plug and Play Monitor on NVIDIA GeForce 7350 LE
512MB GeForce 7350 LE (MSI) 55 °C
Hard Drives
320GB Seagate ST3320820AS (SATA) 39 °C

Does this mean that i can only upgrade to Intel Core 2 Duo
or upgrade to an I3,I5,I7 intel core?

Please help me.Tell me whitch models of CPUS that would work.

That motherboard came in several different models. Would you mind posting up the make and model of your computer so we can look up the exact version motherboard you are running?

Like trotter said, we'll need the model of your motherboard, or at least make/model of your computer so we'll know for sure which cpu the motherboard supports. But in any case, it'll have to be a socket 775; so core i3, i5, i7 are out of the question as those are for a different socket. You may be able to upgrade to core 2 duo or core 2 quad depending on the motherboard.
