Thinking about building a pc..

This is a computer i was thinking of getting...see any issues? the total price is 988.70 CAD with shipping on newegg.ca:

CPU: Intel Core i5-750

CPU Cooler: Cooler master cpu cooler

Graphic Card: Ati Radeon hd 4870 1gb

Cheapy keyboard: Logitech Deluxe 250

Case: NZXT LEXA S

Motherboard: Asus P7P55-m

PSU: OCZ StealthXStream 700W

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB)

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracude 1.5TB 7200rpm

This should be able to play any game right? I already have a monitor and a mouse

You should be ok.
There are ways to reduce costs, and keep the same performance or better than this build though.

You look good, I would probably get a different heatsink thou. Are you going to overclock? If not the stock heatsink will be fine.

This heatsink is only a little more expensive counting the retention bracket, you'll be happier with the lower temps.

One way, is you can use a cheaper PSU, as the 4870 - i5 750 combination would surely never need 700w.
I think a good brand's 500w PSU would tie you over.

You could get a smaller hard drive to reduce costs?
Unless you really do need 1.5Tb though.

You could get a cheaper case.
I would never spend $100 on a mid tower, personally.

That 1000cdn is about 750-800US, so its a pretty good build price. Besides, he never said he wanted a cheaper build... did he?

cpu is the same i5 750, but the gfx card is the newer gen 5770 which offers very similar performance to a 4870, but it will run cooler, consume less power and it supports dx11.

also @ Slay, i don't think the 1366 bracket will give the core contact support for the 1156 skt.

^Hmm, I just checked the .com and .ca prices and they're not that bad off each other.... I expected it to be worse than it is. They still add 15bucks above basic conversion.
