Blue screen after install Windows 7!

Hi everyone,

After installing windows 7 on my netbook (ASUS 1201HA) using Windows7 USB-DVD tool I got a blue screen with the message;

*** STOP: 0x000000A5 (0x0001B,0x50434146,0xFFD06200,0x00000000)

I tried 'Repair Your Computer' and several 'Safe Mode' options from the Advanced Boot Options screen, but the blue screen keeps turning up.

What can I do to fix this?

Hi MindoverMaster,

I tried to put Windows7 Ultimate on my netbook, before I did this I had Windows Home Premium on my netbook.

I used the Windows USB install method since it doesn't have a DVD player.

Can you please give some more advice on how to update the bios?

Call me MoM. (everybody who knows me does)

The manufacturer of your motherboard should give you information on how to update BIOS.

Yes it is a BIOS error. I just gave a better page for information instead of one based on Windows XP.
