Crossfire issues

hello my name is Tomas and i have a question that is bothering me.
I am running 2 sapphire 5870's crossfire and my main card is running at stock speeds 850/1200.
My second card is running at way lower speeds, 150/300. does anyone have any input.

my rig

(Intel® Core™ i7 960 Processor (4x 3.20GHz/8MB L3 Cache))
(12 GB [2 GB X6] DDR3-1600 Triple Memory Module A-Data gaming series
(ASUS P6X58D Premium)
2 Sapphire 5870's crossfire

I have never used an ATi card nor Crossfire or SLI. I have I have a couple ideas though. Try switching PCI-E slots. If that doesn't work, try trying 1 card at a time. If they are running at stock speeds, I have no idea what's wrong. If the one card is running at low speeds, then RMA it. I would also recommend updating BIOS drivers, that might fix your problem.

I thought the second slot ran at a lower speed. I'm not sure, as I never used Crossfire.
