Haven't noticed about the RAM. Yes, get a 2x2Gb set of memory.
And yes, a 650W PSU should be plenty.

This may be ignorant - but when i searched for the WD caviar black on newegg - it lists it as "Bare Drive" - what exactly does that mean?

And a ? about the PSU suggestions - i am hoping in a year to upgrade the video card - will 650 be pushing it as far as future needs?

(someone asked - i am trying to keep it around $1200)

thanks,

what sort of upgrade are you thinking about??
if you are just going to add another 5850, you should be fine

It looks like a great build to me, though I would personally get a different case, and a samsung spinpoint f3 HDD.
Also Dual Channel kit of RAM instead of triple channel for your i5 750/1156 build.

bare drive means it comes in OEM packaging, not in a box with cables etc, usually just a anti static bag with a quick install guide, basically all hard drives come like this.
