Since I had just received my OCZ Gold 1 out of 3 Sticks where dead so I will be taking them back and will be in need of a Good Overclocking RAM My Goal is at LEAST 4.2 and want to go to 4.5 on Air with an intel i7-920 D0. Im not sure if 2,000 really makes all that a difference in overclocking I know they do cost a bit more money. This is for Evga E-758 X58 board

I have a few thoughts of my own, but would like to know what you all think.

First off:
2000
G.SKILL Trident 6GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000)
OR
Mushkin Enhanced Redline 6GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000
OR
Any other reccomendations you have, just not the 2000 Dominator as it is way to expensive for me and I would rather get blades for that price.

1600
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
I originally went with the OCZ instead of this RAM because everything was basically the same, but I am starting to think it won 8 Egg awards for a reason.
OR
G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Small bit better timings than the Corsair Dominator. for a much cheaper price.
Easy to Overclock with?
Timing: 8-8-8-21
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL8TU-6GBPI - Desktop Memory
OR
Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 6GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Better timings than the above little bit more pricy, but about the same as Dominators. I have a gut feeling telling me go Muskin, but im not sure how it will do with OCing my i7-920.
Timings: 7-8-7-20
OR
Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 6GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
On Newegg the same memory is listed, but for 40 dollars less and the
Timings are: 8-8-8-24
I am a little confused about that.

Or even the Muskin RedLine, it is not much more than the BlackLine and seems to be much better. Also has XMP which I do not think BlackLine does.

Well what do you guys think? You can probably tell I am leaning more towards Mushkin, Mainly because there support and most people do not have problems with them. I am up to suggestions. Thanks guys!

The tridents are the best set of triple channel ram gskill offer besides the perfect storm and would be great for holding a max overclock like you need, but due to lack of reviews its hard to say how far they really would overclock, they are probably already fast enough anyway. It really comes down to how much you want to spend, in reality between having a ddr2000 set at clk9 and a 1600 set at clk7/8 you wont see any difference in your overclock or gaming performance. the ocz platinums are great becuase they yield excellent timings, forget the Doms they are over priced. I would go with the gskill ripjaws for sure, you can pretty much set them to 1t command rate and overclock them to 1800mhz without much fuss. But the muskin redlines are just as good, they overclock very very well if you loosen of the timings for the models with tight stocks. Go muskin 1600, since you have a good feeling about them:big_grin:, you really cant go wrong either way.
