Heatsink Direction alright?

Would it be alright if I had my heat sink (Thermalright)up and down EX:

Basically I have the Wide part of the Heatsink Facing the top of the case. Either way I put the HeatSink it does touch some components on the mobo. Since it is square I dont think contact wth the CPU would be the problem, and im not all that sure if this would be a problem or not. I just want the heat from the heatsink to get out of my case as fast and easily as it can basically.

That is fine as long as you can not exhaust towards the back. It is not always possible with all motherboards.

Yeah, if the heatsink is not capable of exhausting threw the back of the case, then that setup is correct.

Alright thanks, I have another problem now though I did not realize that the Kraze fans are 35mm is there anyway I can still mount the heatsink because that piece that goes across the bottom of the heatsink does not stick out far enough the fans are over the holes so I cannot screw them into place. I really want to use these fans, but I need to figure a way how I can still mount the heatsink. Ideas would be appreciated.

The clips are the same for the 38mm and the 25mm fan. Here's a picture showing the basic clip attachment.

And here's a picture of my True Copper with a Scythe Kaze 38mm and the standard fan clips.

If you just can't figure it out you can alway attach the fan with zip ties.

You attach the heatsink first. Then you put the fans on after.
