i7 920 and what mainboard?

Building a new system around an i7 920 most likely and would like to know what mobo and memory would best fit my needs? How much memory is overkill with windows 7? What memory should I be using? I usually o/c somewhat so keep that in mind on the mobo choice.

ideally you'd want to run ram in sets of 3 to take advantage of triple channel memory with the i7 920, so look for 3gig (3x1gig) kits or 6gig (3x2gig) kits of 1333 or 1600mhz of ram.

not sure where you're located or what stores you can buy from, but you can find some good mobos from asus, evga and gigabyte.

Agreed. 3x2gb sets are the usual thing most people go for with an i7 setup.

For a mobo choice there are quite a few good ones. Asus P6T, Gigabytes ud3r, ud5 and ud7 boards are all good, the evga classified, etc.
