I had also considered the 955 processor, but read somewhere that there was a problem with the heatsink?

I just got the 955 and I haven't noticed an issue with the heatsink. If you plan to overclock highly I'd definitely go aftermarket but at stock speed I hover around 42 celsius. From what I understand that's a decent temp. I've read you can overclock a bit (.2 -.6 ghz) on the stock heatsink with no issue but with the speed of this chip I haven't seen a point to trying yet.
