Graphics cooling

Hello I have sapphire x800xl graphics card here. I was wondering how to select a diffferent cooler for it, its makes alot of noise. or should i upgrade, and to what.

my specs

Motherobard: Foxconn 925xe7aa
Ram: 4x1gb 4gb ram
Power supply: CORSAIR 400W

TBH I'd just look into a new card. That's a really old gpu lol, just upgrade, not much point in buying a cooler that's probably worth as much as the card.

Years and years ago I had a X800XT, I had one of these on it, it worked great.

I would spend a little more money, and upgrade to a 5xxx series card. While it's a little more than you wanted to spend, it seems like you don't upgrade all that much (at least that computer), and this would kind of keep you covered for a little while.

Yeah, that's video memory, it'll work fine. You can look on Hardforum at their classifieds, I see a lot of nice cards going cheap there.
