Processor stuck at 6X multiplier

Hey guys,

My Intel T5550 cpu is stuck at 6x multiplier. I am using CPU-Z to look at the clocks and when I pull up programs and games, it never moves from 6X. I am running windows 7 64bit on my Asus G1SN. I have all the power settings set to high performance and all the CPU settings are to 100%. I have reflashed the BIOS and it stays the same. Is it a windows problem or something else. I believe it started staying at 6x after I had tried using some oc software, but even after restoring my computer to an earlier date it still does it.

did you check this in BIOS as well?

That I did. It shows the T5550 is installed running at 1833Ghz. Of course since it is a laptop there are now options to change anything concerning the processor.
