bad connection when bittorrent is active

so i noticed that lately my connection goes out the window when im using bit torrent.

i can be downloading at 10-15kbps only one file and upload at 5kbps limit and i would not be able to load any pages at all
ti would showIE could not load the page
i have to refresh few times for page to load
but when i go to do the speed test online it shows normal speed ( i think those bandwidth tests are useless)

i mean is comcast limiting my bandwidth because im using bit torrent?
it wasnt like that few months ago.

but that was in 2007 its 3 years ago
did they come up with some other trick to limit it?

i mean my downloads are going fine
but i cant open normal internet pages when BT is active

and i try not to upload too much because tht makes my regular interned completely dead...
i also have the peerblock running but no difference

It is possible they are limiting your traffic. I do not think so though. I had comcast at my house a few months ago and i could download using bittorrent without any issues. I was actually using Utorrent, and I have no idea if that would make any difference.

so i dont think its related to my bittorrent

can anyone give me a clue why this happens?

i open a page it would not load the first time

i press refresh few times and it loads up
randomly, and different pages. no specific time.

whats yur connection speed? if its below 256 kbps upload i can see why its being dragged down.

23mbps download
1.4mbps upload
the bittorrent download speeds are like they ve been always. i never seen any download speed drops in there.
its mostly my regular page load that suffers

the pages wouldnt load first time, i have to hit refresh almost every page i open.

How can low upload drag performance if he's seeing trouble viewing websites...won't that require more download than upload...which means less upload is suppose to be better? I'm just confused , mind shaping my brain on the correct road?
