I need to build a general use PC (mostly email, internet..NO GAMING) for some friends. My budget is around $300. I don't need any OS. I'm open to buying used parts already...
Anyone have some good suggestions of motherboards w/ on-board graphics?
2. Mini-ITX system. Intel Motherboard, Intel Atom 330 CPU, 2gb Ram, 500gb HDD, Slot loading DVD-RW, Antec ISK-300 case/PSU. No OS Included. Looking for $250 shipped for this unit. UPS w/ Tracking/Ins.
If you're an overclocker/unlocker
You'll find the Sempron 140 quite accomodating, especially on this motherboard.
You may be able to unlock it to a dual core.
It is only worth whatever someone will pay you for it. If they are willing to give $400, then it is worth $400. there's no way you could sell that here for $400, though.
It would easily be worth $300 for the simple fact that it can handle (older) games. No pre-built with onboard graphics would be able to do that.
