Hey,

I need to build a general use PC (mostly email, internet..NO GAMING) for some friends. My budget is around $300. I don't need any OS. I'm open to buying used parts already...

Anyone have some good suggestions of motherboards w/ on-board graphics?

Muffin,

Thanks for the link! I was looking at that too and might do that. I might just sell my friend my old PC for $400...

Is my old PC worth more than $400?? Here are specs:

AMD 4000+ OC'd to 2.8GHz Stable
OCZ 2GB RAM
2x 320gb Seagate HDs
ABIT AN8-SLI Fatality Motherboard
Windows 7 Ultimate w/ Office 2007
Nvidia 7900GTX Video Card
Antec 550W PSU

It is only worth whatever someone will pay you for it. If they are willing to give $400, then it is worth $400. there's no way you could sell that here for $400, though. :D

It would easily be worth $300 for the simple fact that it can handle (older) games. No pre-built with onboard graphics would be able to do that.

I'm just saying, if I can get a good deal by selling my old PC for $400 then I will do it. Thanks everyone for advice :)

PS: Let me know if you know anyone selling some cheap socket 939 parts or a pre-built comp
