I recently got a new laptop for school, but it turns out that I don't have enough money to buy a separate PC for gaming purposes.

So I'm stuck (kind of) with this "middle-low range" graphics card: the ATI Radeon HD 3200.

It's not a bad card, really... I can just barely run crysis  and I can get Modern Warfare 2 up to 40 - 50 fps.

But after exhausting all of my options, I'm wondering - is there a way to replace / swap out my graphics cards? I probably wouldn't do it myself, since I don't trust myself with it...

Anyway, check out the specs and let me know if you know any better cards that are compatible with my motherboard, tips, suggestions, etc.

Thanks for the help.

SPECS:
Model: Gateway NV-52
Processor: (Dual Core)AMD Athlon X2 QL-64 @ 2.10 GHz stock
Memory: 4 GB DDR2
HD Space: (not really relevant, but w/e) 320 GB
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 3200

Cheers,

For a laptop? 99%, NO.

and that 3200 is in the low range, not "low-middle".

Laptops are not for gaming unless you get a high ranged one with a better gfx card. You risk overheating the whole laptop.
