Video Card Fan Speed

Anybody here run their GPU fan speed at 70%

My GTX 260's are 40% from factory

I have heard people comment that raising the fan speed will wear the fan out quicker......I just don't think that would necessarily be true.

Just wondered what speed every body used on their cards

I run mine at 90% all the time. Helps it stay cool. I have been doing that for about 2 years now and no trouble, knock on wood.

I run mine folding, at 100%ish load, at only 55%. temps are bout 65C

After 75ish, the cooling didnt change much, it just made lots of extra noise.

But I have great direct airflow into my cards.

I like my computer really quiet, keep it at 40%... When I pushed it up to anything like 80 it got really, really loud...
