Just about to buy specs, any thoughts?

Samsung F3 1000GB SATA hard drive
24x Dual Layer DVD +/- Rewriter
ATI HD5770 1GB PCI Express Graphics card

Its an arbico build, aftersales seems ok, my dad had a godd experience and theyre very close to me so any probs can be dealt with in person.

My only not so sure is the PSU. Could someone who knows these things please advise?

I'm now inspired to take apart my old desktop and try rebuilding to learn so next time round I'll be starting from scratch!

Ok, ta. So alternatives are NorthQ 850W PSU or Corsair 750W PSU?

Go with the Corsair 750W

^ Agreed, Corsair makes really great PSU's. Out of those three choices I would jump on the Corsair hands down. Also, if it saves you money then you could go lower in wattage. That setup would do fine with a 550w even.

And you won't find a good review on the Xilence either. That's why the 750w Corsair costs more, it will deliver on the wattage when the others won't.
