yes it did. well i just installed xp pro 64 bit. seeing if this will fix the problem. ill you know if something comes up.

Uh, what did you have before? a 32bit to 64bit, for example, won't help anything.

64 bit vista. 64 bit windows 7 and now xp pro 64 bit.

Going down generally won't help, unless your computer originally came with it.
