My usb ports cut out!! ****ing me off!!

Ok well i have been having this problem for a while now. Right now they are working.
At this moment i have my ipodtouch plugged in and my wireless internet adapter. And if i try to sync my ipod all of the usb ports will just stop working. None of them. Or if i try copying something to a flash drive it either goes completely slow!! Or then it will just cut out. It should not go slow at all. I have a quad core, 500gb hdd, 8 gigs of ram. all set up for gaming and stuff. lol Its just really getting annoying. And if i were to restart the computer it would fix the problem but it would come right back if i were to start copying something to a flash drive or start to sync my ipod.

Can someone please help??!!!

This could be a problem with your PSU. It may not be giving it enough power.

What's your wattage?

no i am not over clocking. and it is a 800 watt psu. That should be just right. if it was the psu would it try to protect it self and just turn off all togther?

Yup!! already tried uninstalling drivers and let it reinstall. doesnt work. made it worse.

But did you try the drivers from the manufactuer not windows? Windows update is usually behind.

I meant the chipset drivers too.

Nope it didnt work. i reinstalled all the drivers and it did not do the trick. usb still cutting out when syncing ipod.

no its all the ports. like i said i have a wireless usb adapter that cuts out as well.
