New computer wont start

when does it throw the bsod? does it let you into windows? is when you are installing?

Hmmmm, I actually cleared the CMOS again and tried reinstalling windows 7.

After my computer had been working fine fir the last couple of hours,I now get an error that says "a disk read error has occurred"

If my boot is corrupted, how am I suppose to fix it. I tried to run the programs on my system recovery console and nothing happened. Should I reinstall Windows?

You can go to the drive manufacturers site and see if they have a diagnostic utility. I've used the Western Digital Lifeguard tools in the past to fix simular issues.

How can i get the diagnostic tools without being able to access my OS

You'll want to download the DOS-based version and run it from a CD.

Ok, so while i was reinstalling my OS onto my computer I got the following error 0x80070057 . I know that this is an error regarding 3rd party drivers, but how am I to fix it.
