I notice I have horizontal scan lines for almost all the channels using my TV2000xp expert Tv tuner. I'm using cable to watch TV on my computer not the antenna. Is this normal?

Is this while watching live tv or watching something you recorded?

I dont have this problem with mine, is your cable in good condition?

Yep my cable is in good condition. I even tried this with my digial box which uses compostie RCA cables.

hmm, idk what to tell you. Do you have the latest drivers from the website? Some times the ones on the cd cause problems.

Thanks, I just updated my drivers. It seems to help a bit. It is not so noticeable anymore.

That almost sound like a macrovision signal getting transmitted with the Cable TV signal

How can I record a show with closed-captioning? When I play the file back, the closed-caption is gone. How can I record that too?

The only thing I could think of is that you need some type of software that forces the cc on the screen. Kinda like subtitles when ripping a dvd. I'll try to look into it.
