Hey guys, im building a new PC, and last time i mucked it a little with parts not working, being too hot and breaking easily.
So this time I want to get it right, so if someone could check it over and answer a few questions for me that would be great.

All in all if you could just comment on one part, not all if you don't want to. All input is appreciated. Any reccomendations would be appreciated if you could link the product also

Also any additions to the list to improve it that little more without a heavy price tag. (Such as full tower case instead of mid tower)

i wouldnt go with an lga775 build now, there are just other, better options now.

case; antec 300 is a good choice.

for the gfx card, if by "hamstring" you mean bottlenecking, the no it wont bottleneck your system or vice versa with either the parts youve listed or that ive listed.

and you havent listed a psu. do you already have one or do you need help picking one out?

Already got a 550W Psu with two PCI-E's on it, will that be enough for all the new gear? (Graphics card need 2)

Edit: Mega thanks for the AMD Processor aswell. Definately reconsidering getting it. Aswell as the mobo.

What brand is the 550 watt PSU?

550 watts is enough for your new gear. It has to have enough amps on the 12V rail(s) for the GTS250. If your PSU is from a good brand, it'll be more than enough. And with all those expensive parts, i wouldn't trust a shoddy brand with it!

i agree with aliasaid, if your psu is from a crap brand i would spend the extra money on a new one. you can take a look at the psu guide found here for more info http://www.techist.com/forums/f76/read-first-updated-power-supply-guide-221778/

I have an old optical drive that i can use, and as for the power supply its a corsair one that cost me about £70 after my cheap £20 650W blew up on me. And my 550 hasnt failed me.
