Ok, so my flatmate has done something to her wireless adapter driver.
To begin with, it wouldn't let her connect to any network, saying that authorisation had failed. I entered my password and it still wouldn't let her connect. So, I told her to reinstall her driver, and something seems to have gone wrong.
When the laptop starts up, it says its installing the driver but it then fails saying that it couldn't find the driver. I then downloaded the drive from the internet, extracted it, hit install and it still failed, saying it couldn't find the driver.
I've tried a system restore to when the driver worked, but it still doesn't seem to make a different.
Is there anything else I could try?
Oh, and the driver is: atheros ar5007 and it's Windows Vista she's using.
