Graphics Performance List

I'm becoming more inclined to just bite the bullet and buy a new more powerful psu and get something like a 9800GTX+ or GTS250 I don't think there really isn't much of a difference

I can assure you there's a difference, but it depends on the resolution you are playing at. My brother has a 8600GTS 512 and I previously owned a 9800GTX+. the 8600GTS struggles (~24fps) with Crysis on 1280x1024 while the 9800GTX+ gets reasonable frame rates on high on 1920x1080 (First build I hooked up to my 60" hdtv.. it was sweet )

between a 8600gts and a 9800gtx+? performance wise there isnt really anything to compare, its pretty clear that a 9800gtx+ would be better.

he wasnt comparing it to an 8600gts, he was comparing it to a gts 250 which you really would not see any major differences between it an a 9800gtx+.

AnandTech: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250: A Rebadged 9800 GTX+

a 5770 would be better than both of these though, so i agree that would be a good card too.

Just had one question. Which card's better?

Nvidia GeForce 9400GT 1GB GDDR2
OR
XFX GeForce 9600 GSO graphics card - 384MB DDR3, PCI Express 2.0, Dual Link DVI, SLI ready

I know the 9600 GSO is higher up, but the 9600GT has more memory.

Doesn't matter if it has more GDDR, because it's GDDR2 which makes it slower than GDDR3

Yeah, the GPU performance and the memory performance are both better.

On a side note, that is the good 9600GSO, so I'd pick it up fast.

Does it matter if its used?

Another question: What about the "Nvidia GT120 1GB Video Adapter w/ HDMI Output?" I can't find it on the list...
