the gts 250 is a bit expensive for what you get. from ati's offerings, you can get a hd 4850 which is cheaper and offers similar, if not better performance.

these are some others that would be good in your price range

but with your budget, dont expect to buy a card that will max something like crysis, unless you get lucky and find a good deal somewhere.

Ah yes, sorry for the misunderstanding, thx muffinman for clarifying.

If you wanted to stay under $150, then the 4850 or 5850 would be best, and get the 1GB version since you're needing to game at high resolutions.
