How do i O/C AMD sempron 2800+

I have a AMD sempron 2800+ and when i try go in BIOS i cant find the CPU settings to O/C it, also is there a program i can download to to O/C my cpu.
computer specs
AMD sempron 2800+ 2.00ghz
2gig ram

Depending on your motherboard there may or may not be OC settings, depending on price and age.

There are OCing programs but they usually aren't very good.

Well my CPU is pretty old got it around 2004, is there a way i can tell you if my CPU is compatible to get O/C?

On the case does it say something like Dell or HP letting us know it is a prebuilt computer. If it is there will be no OC options in bios.

If you have stock cooling you will be limited as well. You would be lucky to get a 5 to 10% OC with your chip.

So from 2.0 you could get to 2.1 to 2.2. In the real world that will not make a significant difference.

If it is a prebuilt then you will not be able to OC it from the BIOS but you might be able to OC it from a windows app, these are generally held to be unstable though.

Mine is a Emachines computer and is prebuilt, and most likely is locked to O/C.
