Microphone issues.

My laptop did a Windows Update this morning.
And ever since everytime i use my microphone it turns itself down to mute if there is any noise going to it.
It worked before the update,
and im sure there must be a way of talking in the microphone without having to system restore, anybody who could give me a hand?

reinstall/update your drivers for the audio.

un-install the drivers. restart. install drivers again.
