Need help with first computer build

Yea i'm getting the parts you listed, I noticed the combos isn't there anymore, but its the Asus m4a79xtd evo for 119.99 motherboard right? I saved the item/model numbers for everything, so i'll just buy it all separates. there are still rebates on most of them. and i think it will be a great system for what i need. So the 64 bit version of windows. whats the limit on it? for ram

I just want to mention that Newegg is so awesome, that if you talk to a representative , he/she will most likely honor the expired combo deal. It's worth a try.

The 4gb RAM should be more than enough , but you could always get another 4 if you really want. It won't help you with gaming though.

ive already ordered the case, mobo, ram, and cpu. ordered sep. oh well. getting rest nxt week.

why wont it help with gaming? sry for the neb ? still learning

right now, games just dont benefit from huge amounts of ram. (well, thats the best explanation i can give you anyway >.< )

even some real demanding games like crysis or gta4 only recommend 2 or 2.5gigs of ram.
